Man... I can't get over the pacing for these damn 12 episode animes! They always seem to move too damn fast or choppy. This is why the 2000s era still the best. The only modern 12 ep anime I've watched with excellent pacing was Lycoris Recoil.

This episode had some real issues with voice acting. I have been slowly accepting Lilia's VA and trying to appreciate her since she at least brings something interesting..but not feeling Iolites voice at all, or the mage characters.

TBH... I usually don't side with folks who criticize the VAs since most of the time I think they're well done. But this time I agree. The Sub VA for Lilia honestly sounds better for the character than the dub version. Iolite's VA sounds alright in regards to tone of voice but the way he delivers the lines are weird.
